Material Handler, Receiving

Agilus is recruiting for a Material Handler, Receiving in the Micro-Electronics Industry in Ottawa, Ontario.
Under general supervision, the Material Handler – Receiving carries out semi-routine tasks in support of the receiving and warehouse functions. The Material Handler – Receiving generally works with clearly established procedures to perform responsibilities.
Responsibilities:

Unloads delivery vehicles and confirms, signs, and logs waybills
Examine shipments for damage and processes discrepancies
Verifies box counts, sorts and delivers receipts to the correct location
Delivering material to stockrooms; verifies and maintains First-In-First-Out policy
Maintains and updates policies and procedures, and trains others as required
Recommend process improvements
Maintains warehouse workspace and environment
Other misc. duties as may be required

Must have:

At least one (1) year of previous warehouse, material handling, and/or electronics-related experience, minimum
High School Education, minimum
Excellent PC skills are required
Basic math skills are required

Total compensation:

$19.00 hourly
Weekly pay each Friday
4% vacation paid out weekly
The opportunity to work with a reputable client, gaining valuable experience
