Agilus by Synergie is recruiting for a Material Handler, Packaging in the Electro-Mechanical Industry in Ottawa, Ontario.
The Material Handler, Packaging is responsible for moving, organizing, and preparing products for storage or shipment inside the warehouse facility. They are also responsible for maintaining a clean and orderly workspace.
Responsibilities:

Package finished items according to specifications, identify discrepancies
Move raw materials, parts, and finished packages manually or using equipment like carts, pallet jacks, or forklifts
Unload incoming trucks, check quantities and product codes against packing slips, label pallets, and stage outbound freight
Scan or log inventory movements in an enterprise resource planning (ERP) or warehouse management system (WMS), conduct cycle counts, and report discrepancies
Keep packaging stations, loading docks, and storage aisles clean and safe in line with company safety standards

Requirements:

High School Diploma, minimum requirement
1 – 3 years of previous experience in a similar role is ideal
Comfortable having a background check conducted
Comfortable conducting training on day shift from 8 am – 4 pm for 3 – 8 weeks

Total rewards:

$19.00 hourly
10% Evening Shift Premium on top of base rate
