Material Handler, Kitting

Agilus is recruiting for a Material Handler, Kitting in the Micro-Electronics Industry in Ottawa, Ontario.
Under general supervision, the Material Handler – Kitting carries out semi-routine tasks in support of the receiving and warehouse functions. The Material Handler – Kitting generally works with clearly established procedures to perform responsibilities. This is an evening shift role, from 4 pm - 12 am.
Responsibilities:

Performs a variety of kitting and order functions
Assists with interplant transfers
Door Service; works with company inventory system
Maintains and updates policies and procedures, and trains others as required
Picks and packs products for customer shipments
Recommend process improvements
Puts stock away in warehouse
May assist in other activities as may be required

Successful candidates will have:

At least 1 year of previous warehouse, material handling, and/or electronics experience
High School education, minimum
Excellent PC skills are required
Must be willing to conduct a criminal background check

Additional 10% premium on top of base pay, up to 37.5 hours per week
