IQC Parts Associate

Agilus by Synergie is recruiting for an IQC Parts Associate in the Life Sciences Industry in Ottawa, Ontario.
Our client is seeking a diligent, hands-on individual who is comfortable with repetitive work in a Quality Control environment. Must be comfortable working in a warehouse environment at a desk as well as on their feet, conducting repetitive inspections on various parts and raw materials. This individual has an understanding of production-based tasks and works in a timely manner to complete inspections and pull parts from incoming deliveries.
Responsibilities:

Pull parts and materials from incoming skids from deliveries
Record and document inspection on paper, some data entry may be required
Conduct visual inspections using a magnifying lens and binocular microscopes
Read and follow written procedures
Maintain quality standards
Other misc. duties as may be required

Requirements:

High School Diploma (WES Certification required if education was obtained outside of Canada)
Must pass a criminal background check, done through Agilus
Must pass a vision test, done through Agilus with a partner facility
Requires steel toe boots

Total rewards:

$19.00 hourly
Weekly pay including 4% vacation premium
OT opportunities

Has an eye for detail
Able to work independently
Must be comfortable working on their feet
Certificate, Diploma, or bachelor’s degree would be considered an asset
