Agilus is recruiting for a General Manager in the city of Ottawa in Ottawa, Ontario. The General Manager is a motivated, people-focused leader. This role offers the opportunity to drive leadership, problem-solving, and continuous improvement while delivering exceptional customer and employee experiences
Total rewards:- $85000.00 annually
- Regular hours are 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, with flexibility for earlier start times (as early as 6am/7am) based on business needs

A typical day:- Coach, motivate, and guide staff to perform at their best
- Oversee scheduling, order fulfillment, and communication to deliver excellent customer experiences while reducing downtime and reschedules
- Support operational improvements, supplier relations, and ensure vehicles, inventory, and facilities are well-maintained
- Implement established processes and maintain a safe, organized, and compliant workplace
- Recruit, develop, and expand internal teams
- Lead marketing initiatives and identify new opportunities and projects
- Build on existing operations and scale the business to the next level
The successful candidate brings:- 5+ years’ experience in a home renovation related field (windows, HVAC, roofing, pools, flooring, kitchens etc)
- 5+ years’ experience in a people management role
- Solid understanding of basic measuring (e.g., reading a tape measure) and renovation terminology
- Highly driven, proactive leader with strong initiative, fresh ideas, and a passion for growth
- Proven ability to manage diverse teams and foster trust, accountability, and continuous improvement
- Excited to contribute to growth initiatives
- Strong decision-making skills with a big-picture mindset; able to stay calm under pressure
- Leads by example with a commitment to exceptional customer experiences and team development
