Field Service Technician (Junior & Intermediate)

Agilus by Synergie is recruiting for several Field Service Technician - Junior & Intermediates in the Public Sector in Ottawa, Ontario.
Install, configure, test, and maintain telecommunications equipment, cabling, and related systems while ensuring compliance with technical drawings, installation procedures, and quality standards. Troubleshoot equipment and network issues, perform corrective maintenance, prepare technical documentation, and support deployment activities at client sites across multiple locations.

A typical day:

Install and configure telecommunications equipment, cabling, and related systems
Troubleshoot and repair communication devices, equipment, and cabling issues
Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and installation documents
Use industry-standard testing equipment and hand tools during installation and maintenance activities
Prepare and maintain technical documentation, project logs, and installation records

Requirements:

Must hold or be eligible to obtain a Government Secret Security Clearance
Must hold a certificate in Electrical Training, Electronics Training, Lineman Technician Training
Must have a minimum of 5 years experience performing telecommunications installation activities
