Delivery Helper

Agilus by Synergie is recruiting for a Delivery Helper in the Light Industrial Industry in Ottawa, Ontario.
Our client is local charitable organization seeking a Helper to support their driver on the donation drop-off and pick-up route. The Helper is responsible for assisting the driver with navigating routes, safely loading and unloading donated furniture and goods, and providing customer service when needed.
Responsibilities:

Accompanying drivers to homes or donation bins to collect pre-loved goods and furniture
Safely lifting, stacking, and securing items in the truck
Unloading trucks at thrift stores, sorting donations, and moving heavy items to the sales floor
Greeting donors and providing receipts and courteous communication on-site

You bring:

Must have steel toe boots
G Class License is ideal but not required
High School Diploma
Able to regularly lift 50lbs. or more

Total compensation:

$17.60 hourly
Weekly pay including 4% vacation premium
1-month opportunity with the possibility of extension
Consistent schedule from 8 am until work is completed
Shifts: Friday, Saturday (10 am start), Monday, Tuesday
