Agilus is recruiting for a Team Lead – Debt Solutions Manager in the Insolvency Sector in North York, ON, Ontario.

We’re looking for a dynamic Team Lead – Debt Solutions Manager to guide and inspire a group of Debt Solutions Specialists. This role blends leadership, strategy, and hands-on expertise in debt resolution. You’ll ensure your team delivers ethical, compliant, and effective solutions that truly make a difference in clients’ lives.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead, coach, and mentor a team of 12–15 Debt Solutions Managers.
  • Set clear performance goals and monitor KPIs for productivity and quality.
  • Conduct regular one-on-ones, performance reviews, and coaching sessions.
  • Motivate the team to achieve recovery and compliance targets.
  • Oversee client financial assessments and debt portfolio reviews.
  • Support team in creating tailored debt solutions (settlements, restructuring, hardship programs).
  • Join client calls for complex cases and handle escalated negotiations.
  • Ensure ethical, customer-centric practices and regulatory compliance.

You bring:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, or related field (preferred).
  • 3–6 years’ experience in debt management, collections, or financial services.
  • Minimum 2 years in a team lead or supervisory role within insolvency.
  • Strong leadership and coaching skills with proven results.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and Ascend Software; HubSpot experience is an asset.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage onsite and remote team members effectively.
  • Commitment to ethical practices and client-focused solutions.
