Business Intelligence Senior Advisor

Seeking a Business Intelligence Senior Advisor to support strategic data and analytics initiatives across the an Enterprise organization
Agilus by Synergie is recruiting for a Senior Advisor, Business Intelligence in the Energy sector in a hybrid work environment in North York, Ontario.
This role will partner closely with business stakeholders to deliver actionable insights, lead complex analytical projects, and drive data-informed decision-making. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced BI professional who combines strong technical expertise in SQL, Python, and Azure Databricks with the ability to influence stakeholders and translate data into business value.
A typical day:

Partner with business leaders and internal stakeholders to identify opportunities where analytics can improve performance and support strategic objectives.
Lead end-to-end analytics projects, including problem definition, data exploration, analysis, validation, and presentation of findings.
Develop and deliver high-impact reports, dashboards, and analytical solutions that support operational and strategic decision-making.
Build and validate predictive models, forecasting solutions, and statistical analyses using large and complex datasets.
Facilitate workshops and collaborative sessions to identify innovative uses of data and analytics.
Present complex findings in a clear and concise manner to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Mentor and provide guidance to junior analysts while promoting best practices in analytics and reporting.

Successful candidates will have:

Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, Information Technology, or a related discipline
Advanced SQL and Python skills with experience working with large, complex datasets.
Hands-on experience with Azure Databricks and modern cloud-based analytics environments.
Proven ability to translate business requirements into analytical solutions.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
