Analyst, Business Process - Contract

Agilus is recruiting for a Analyst, Business Process - Contract in the in the city of North York in North York, Ontario.
Reporting to the Sr. Director, Front Store Pricing, this role analyzes, implements, and monitors SKU level pricing and price zone strategies in alignment with the companies pricing standards.
Total rewards:

$42.17 hourly
Contract Position: Until November 2026
7 hours per day, 35 hours per week

A typical day:

Drive regular sales and margin growth; accountable for annual margin improvement
Analyze and optimize SKU pricing and store price zone assignments
Monitor category, regional, and competitive pricing to align with companies strategy
Identify and act on pricing opportunities and risks impacting sales and margins
Support new store price zoning and coordinate implementation with stakeholders
Review flyer and Corporate Brand pricing to maximize sales and margins
Resolve pricing inquiries and issues from stores, customers, and internal teams
Partner with cross-functional teams to execute pricing initiatives and reviews

The successful candidate brings:

Post-secondary degree in business, finance, economics, or related field, with 2+ years of relevant experience
Advanced MS Office proficiency, particularly Excel; experience with SQL and Power Query
Understanding of pricing strategies and business performance drivers
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and financial analysis skills with high attention to detail
Proven ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects independently
Excellent written, verbal, and organizational communication skills
Ability to work effectively with all levels of management and diverse teams
Professional, tactful, and adaptable working style
