Lead a High-Performing Distribution Branch as Branch Manager – Nanaimo, BC
Agilus by Synergie is recruiting for a Branch Manager in the Mechanical & Fire Protection Sector in Nanaimo, British Columbia.
This Branch Manager role offers the opportunity to lead and grow a well-established distribution branch serving Nanaimo and surrounding areas. You will oversee sales performance, customer relationships, inventory, and team leadership while driving business development and operational excellence. This permanent position is ideal for a hands-on leader with strong industry knowledge who thrives in a customer-focused, fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:

Lead and manage overall branch operations, performance, and profitability
Develop and grow new and existing customer accounts across the region
Oversee sales orders, quotations, deliveries, and customer issue resolution
Manage inventory levels, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting
Recruit, train, coach, and evaluate branch staff while promoting health and safety compliance

Successful candidates will have:

College diploma in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field
Five to eight years of sales or customer service experience within industrial or mechanical distribution
Minimum three years of managerial experience with people leadership responsibilities
Strong knowledge of mechanical, industrial, fire protection, or pipe and fittings products
Proven leadership, business development, and computer skills with Microsoft Office
