Agilus by Synergie is recruiting for a Red Seal Truck & Transport Technician in the Waste Management Industry in Moncton, New Brunswick.
Our client is currently seeking a permanent, experienced Shop Foreperson with a Red Seal Truck & Transport Technician certification to lead their maintenance shop and support fleet operations. This is a hands-on leadership role ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys both supervising a team and performing advanced diagnostics and repairs.
We offer:

$39.00 - $42.00 hourly
Schedule: Monday- Thursday 2:00pm-12:00am & Friday 2:00pm-6:00pm

Responsibilities:

Oversee daily shop operations to ensure efficiency, safety, and productivity
Supervise, mentor, and support shop technicians and apprentices
Coordinate maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and ensure fleet reliability
Maintain accurate records for equipment, maintenance, and personnel
Collaborate with Operations Supervisors and drivers to support operational needs
Diagnose and repair heavy-duty trucks, including diesel engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems
Perform preventative maintenance, safety inspections, and MVI inspections
Troubleshoot complex mechanical issues and implement effective solutions

Requirements:

Red Seal (Truck & Transport Technician) certification
Valid Class 3 driver’s license required
Strong experience with heavy-duty vehicle maintenance, hydraulics, and electrical systems
Proven leadership or supervisory experience in a shop environment (minimum 3 years)
Ability to diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair complex equipment
Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
Must supply own tools
Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as required
