Maintenance Supervisor- Skilled Trades Leader Wanted!
Agilus is recruiting for a Maintenance Supervisor in the Food Manufacturing Industry in Moncton, New Brunswick.
Our client, a leading food manufacturing company, is seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to lead maintenance operations in a fast-paced production environment. The successful candidate will oversee a team of skilled trades professionals, ensure equipment reliability, manage maintenance priorities, budgets, and projects, and drive operational excellence. Candidates must have 3-5 years of supervisory experience and hold a Red Seal certification as a Millwright, Electrician, Machinist, or equivalent maintenance trade.
What's in it for you:

$100000.00 - $110000.00 annually
Schedule: Tuesday to Saturday, daytime hours.
Company-provided tools, uniforms, safety footwear, cellphone & company travel and expense card
Minimum 3 weeks of vacation, with additional vacation negotiable based on experience.

Pension plan with employer matching up to 4.5%, for a maximum contribution of 9% total.

Responsibilities:

Supervise, mentor, and support maintenance team members.
Coordinate and oversee preventative and corrective maintenance activities.
Manage maintenance schedules and prioritize work orders.
Lead troubleshooting efforts and implement effective corrective actions.
Monitor maintenance budgets and support capital projects.
Collaborate with production leadership to meet operational goals.
Ensure maximum equipment uptime and operational efficiency.

Requirements:

3-5 years of maintenance supervisory experience.
Valid maintenance trade certification, such as: Millwright, Industrial Electrician or Machinist
Proven leadership and team management skills.
Experience using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
Experience working in a unionized environment.
Manufacturing or food production experience, a strong asset
Experience managing maintenance budgets and projects.
Clean criminal background check required
