Maintenance Supervisor- Skilled Trades Leader Wanted!
Agilus is recruiting for a Maintenance Supervisor in the Food Manufacturing Industry in Moncton, New Brunswick.
Our client, a well-established food manufacturing organization is seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to lead maintenance operations in a fast-paced, unionized environment. This role is ideal for a proven maintenance leader with a strong background in supervising skilled trades teams, driving preventive maintenance programs, managing budgets and projects, and improving equipment reliability. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring safe, efficient, and cost-effective plant operations while supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the facility.

Responsibilities:

Lead, coach, and develop maintenance team members, including skilled trades professionals
Ensure all maintenance activities are completed safely and in compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements
Oversee preventive and predictive maintenance programs to maximize equipment reliability and reduce downtime
Plan, schedule, and prioritize maintenance work through a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS)
Plan, schedule, and prioritize maintenance work through a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS)
Lead and coordinate plant improvement projects, capital upgrades, and contractor activities
Monitor maintenance KPIs and drive accountability across the department

Requirements:

Red Seal Certification in: Industrial Mechanic (Millwright), Industrial Electrician, OR Machinist
Minimum 3–5 years of supervisory experience in a maintenance environment
Experience leading maintenance teams within a manufacturing setting
Experience working in a unionized environment considered an asset
Familiarity with CMMS software (Maximo, SAP PM, Maintenance Connection, or similar) preferred
Experience managing maintenance budgets and capital projects preferred
Proficient with Microsoft Office applications
Clean criminal background check required
