Site Superintendent

Agilus is recruiting for a Site Superintendent in the Construction industry in Mississauga, Ontario. We are seeking a hands-on Site Superintendent with proven experience delivering interior fit-out projects across commercial sectors including restaurants, offices, and ICI spaces.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives on the job site, takes ownership of day-to-day operations, and ensures projects are delivered safely, on time, and to a high standard of quality.
You will be responsible for leading all on-site construction activities, coordinating trades, and maintaining strong communication with project stakeholders. Total rewards:- $70000.00 - $750000.00 annually

Responsibilities:- Manage and oversee all on-site construction activities for interior renovation and fit-out projects
- Act as the primary site contact for subcontractors, trades, inspectors, and consultants
- Develop and maintain short-term and long-term schedules, ensuring project milestones are met
- Ensure compliance with Ontario Building Code, health & safety regulations, and company standards
- Conduct regular site meetings, safety talks, and inspections
- Review drawings and specifications, proactively identifying conflicts or constructability issues
- Monitor project progress and provide daily/weekly updates to the Project Manager and Drive a clean, organized, and safety-first work environment
- Maintain accurate site documentation including daily logs, deficiencies, and site reports
Successful candidates will have:- 5–10+ years of experience as a Site Superintendent on interior ICI projects
- Proven track record delivering restaurant, retail, and/or office fit-outs
- In-depth knowledge of interior scopes including millwork, finishes, MEP coordination, and specialty installations
- Ability to read and interpret drawings, specs, and construction documents
- Familiarity with GTA/Ontario construction practices and regulations
