Data Governance Lead

Agilus by Synergie is recruiting for a Data Governance Lead in the Manufacturing in a hybrid work environment in Mississauga, Ontario.
We are seeking a Data Governance Lead to play a critical role in a large-scale, enterprise-wide ERP transformation. This position is both strategic and hands-on, responsible for building a data governance framework while actively leading data migration efforts across multiple systems.
Responsibilities:

Establish and implement data governance standards, policies, and processes
Lead data migration efforts across ERP, CRM, and financial systems
Develop data mapping, validation, and cutover plans
Ensure data quality through profiling, cleansing, and monitoring
Collaborate with Finance, IT, Operations, and external partners
Act as the central owner of data readiness across all workstreams

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Computer Science, Data Science, Information Management, or related field
Minimum 5+ years of experience in data governance, data management, or master data administration
Proven experience leading data migration within ERP transformation programs
Hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O) and/or Customer Engagement (CE)
Experience designing and implementing data governance frameworks, policies, and standards
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Strong understanding of ERP data structures, hierarchies, and integrations
Excellent communication skills with the ability to present to non-technical stakeholders

Further additional qualifications:

Experience with Microsoft Purview or similar governance tools
Familiarity with Navision (NAV) or Business Central
Experience with Salesforce CRM, Maximo, or manufacturing systems
Exposure to ETL processes, data integration platforms, or data quality tools
Industry experience in manufacturing, chemical, or process environments
