Cyber Security Program Manager

Agilus Work Solutions is partnering with a leading Canadian retailer to engage a Cybersecurity Program Manager
Agilus is recruiting for a Cyber Security Program Manager in the Retail Sector in a hybrid work environment in Mississauga, Ontario.
This role is responsible for establishing, scaling, and governing enterprise cybersecurity programs within a complex retail and omnichannel environment, while delivering clear, executive-level insights to senior leadership. The successful candidate will bring hands-on experience standing up cybersecurity programs, developing strategic roadmaps, and managing C-suite stakeholders, with a strong understanding of retail-specific risks across stores, e-commerce, supply chain, and corporate IT.
A typical day:

Stand up and mature enterprise cybersecurity programs aligned to retail business priorities, including store operations, e-commerce platforms, POS systems, and supply chain technologies
Develop and maintain multi-year cybersecurity roadmaps that address evolving retail threats, regulatory requirements (e.g., PCI-DSS), and digital transformation initiatives
Lead delivery of multiple cybersecurity initiatives such as Identity & Access Management, Multifactor Authentication, Endpoint Protection, Vulnerability Management, and Third-Party Risk
Serve as a trusted advisor to C-level executives and senior retail leadership, translating cyber risk into business-focused narratives, dashboards, and executive presentations
Drive cross-functional alignment across IT, Security, Digital, Store Operations, Risk, and Legal teams
Identify and mitigate cybersecurity risks impacting customer data, payment systems, store networks, and digital channels

Successful candidates will have:

10+ years of IT project/program management experience
5+ years leading cybersecurity programs or transformations, preferably within retail or consumer-facing environments
Strong understanding of cybersecurity risks related to POS systems, e-commerce, customer data, and distributed store networks
Demonstrated ability to engage C-suite stakeholders, deliver executive presentations, and influence investment decisions
Broad cybersecurity knowledge including IAM, MFA, Endpoint Security, Vulnerability Management, and Risk Management
