Jr. Data Engineer

Agilus by Synergie is recruiting for a Jr. Data Engineer in the Utilities space in Markham, Ontario.
Jr. Data Engineer
Responsibilities:

-Building and maintaining data pipelines for ingestion, transformation, and storage. -Implementing data quality, validation, and monitoring controls. -Supporting data analysis, visualization, and reporting. -Collaborating with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions. -Troubleshooting and optimizing existing data workflows. -A strong team player.

Requirements:

-Programming skills in T-SQL, Python, and Spark for data manipulation and automation -Knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and database management. -Familiarity with data platforms, including data lakes, warehouses, and streaming systems. -Understanding of ETL processes, REST APIs, and Azure data factory. -Basic experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI. -Awareness of data governance, privacy, and security practices.

Total rewards:

$30.00 - $40.00 hourly
6 month contract
