Agilus is recruiting for several Contracts Managers in the utilities sector in Markham, Ontario.
We’re working with a client who is currently hiring a Contracts Manager to join their legal team. This role suits someone who enjoys managing contracts from start to finish, brings a proactive and detail-oriented approach, and is excited about growing with a fantastic company.

Responsibilities:
  • Reviewing and editing sales agreements, MSAs, IT contracts etc.
  • Supporting a team of lawyers
  • Redlining and reviewing indemnities
  • Working in the CLM software and helping with the implementation
  • Working on complex agreements, drafting contract summaries, and gathering stakeholder feedback
  • Risk analysis
  • Maintain playbooks, clause libraries, and templates

Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience working on complex contracts on a corporate legal team, any experience as a lawyer will be a huge asset
  • Experience with reviewing indemnities and redlining
  • B2B contract experience
  • Analytical mindset and a passion for problem-solving and improving processes
  • Extraordinarily high attention to detail
