Agilus by Synergie is recruiting for a Business Intelligence Manager in the Utility sector in a hybrid work environment in Markham, Ontario.
The Business Intelligence Team is responsible for managing, developing, and executing the Business Intelligence (BI) and Revenue Assurance program, including annual rate increases, operational dashboards, reporting, and ensuring overall gross margin integrity.

A typical day:

Lead and manage the BI team in delivering production reporting and monthly KPI/MBR insights
Conduct deep-dive analysis across operations to uncover drivers of performance, cost, quality, and productivity
Collaborate with stakeholders to develop insights and recommendations that support strategic decision-making
Deliver monthly performance reporting, including variance analysis to identify efficiency and resource optimization opportunities
Establish and oversee operational policies, SOPs, and quality management systems for revenue assurance
Foster a high-performance, customer-centric culture focused on continuous improvement and accountability
Partner with cross-functional teams to implement controls supporting client success, billing, field, and sales operations
Present business insights to leadership, including MBRs and investment business cases, ensuring data integrity through audits and analysis

Successful candidates will have:

University degree required; MBA or CPA preferred
Additional training in Data Analytics or IT is an asset
Industry experience in Utilities, Telecommunications, or large consumer-based with exposure to start-up environments preferred
4+ years of relevant experience, including leading high-performing teams
Advanced proficiency in data modelling and analytics using Excel, Power BI, and SQL
Strong ability to analyze large data sets, apply statistical methods, and identify trends and cost-saving opportunities
Excellent collaboration, communication, and stakeholder management skills
Proven leadership ability with strong attention to detail, project management, and experience delivering best-in-class reporting and analytics solutions
