Commercial Excellence Business Analyst

Agilus is recruiting for a Commercial Excellence Business Analyst in the Life Sciences Industry in Mississauga, Ontario.
This is a full-time contract position with one of our Life Sciences clients in Mississauga, Ontario. The ideal candidate for this position will have previous experience with advanced knowledge of Excel models, a strong understanding of Business Intelligence tools, and strong research skills to support the key functions of this position. Your expertise will impact the future of our client's business.
Responsibilities:

Support demand planner and supply chain planning team
Support commercial business and finance teams with analysis that yields actionable insights that support with increase market share, sales and margin. Help develop analytical tools to analysis market data, competitive data
Developing, designing, enhancing, and maintaining analytical reports utilizing various information sources and software systems
Gain understanding of the content, use and implication of Key DBs and BI tools and learns to communicate findings in a strategic fashion providing council and recommendations for further action
Responds to queries/info needs from business in terms of BI needs related to the assigned brand
Contributes by providing week/month/year-end updated data to business
Act as a resource person for the all cross-functional teams with providing insights on data and industry
Prepare ad-hoc reports/analysis related to the Organization’s performance and such demands will be a common demand on the incumbent's time, along with regular performance reporting

Successful candidates will have:

Advanced computer skills for spreadsheet management; ability to work with excel models, BI tools, and sales analysis tools
Post-Secondary education in a Business/Computer vocation is preferred
Strong business acumen
Experience in forecasting, demand planning, etc., is an asset

Soft skills:

Detail-orientedness will be an asset in this position

What's in it for you:

$60000.00 - $70000.00 annually
12-month FT contract
