SmartPlant Piping Designer

Agilus is recruiting for a SmartPlant Piping Designer in the Oil&Gas Industry in a hybrid work environment in Calgary, Alberta.
The SmartPlant 3D Piping Designer plays a key role in the Drafting and Design Department, responsible for creating and maintaining high-quality 3D models and 2D deliverables.
Responsibilities:

Utilize Hexagon S3D modeling software to create detailed piping models.
Generate design drawing including PFDs, P&IDs, Plot Plans, Piping General Arrangements, Equipment Layouts, and Isometrics.
Create detailed Bill of Materials.
Conduct thorough reviews of drawings and designs to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
Participate in both internal and external 30/60/90 model reviews as required.
Ensure adherence to electronic filing systems, maintaining a well-organized folder structure, and effective file management.
Collaborate closely with the Piping Design Lead through regular communication, to align and fulfil project requirements.

Requirements:

Proficiency with CAD software for creating detailed piping layouts and design drawings.
Understanding of piping codes and standards such as ASME.
Engineering Design and Drafting Diploma (Piping)
5 + years’ of EPCM experience.
