Communication Specialist- 1 year Contract

Agilus is recruiting for a Communication Specialist in the energy sector in a hybrid work environment in Calgary, Alberta.
This is a 1-year contract role with a possible extension
Responsibilities:

Implement the communications plan for a major business transformation project.
Create and develop communication materials for the project team and stakeholders.
Collaborate closely with the Organizational Change Management resources on the project.
Provide innovative strategies for effective communication with a diverse stakeholder base, from front-line staff to executives.
Anticipate project needs and proactively address them without requiring direction.
Create branded presentations and documents to convey project information clearly.
Develop and maintain the project SharePoint site as well as the internal team SharePoint site.
Build communication toolkits tailored for specific stakeholder groups.

Must have:

Degree or diploma in a related field (e.g., Communications, Marketing)
5 years of experience in internal corporate communications
Certification or coursework in organizational change management (e.g., Prosci)
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, SharePoint, and Adobe InDesign
Experience with the Articulate 360 suite is preferred
Excellent communication skills, verbal and written

Total rewards:

Hourly rate up to $35.00/hour
Hybrid work model, a minimum of 2 days in the office
