Technical writer / Proposal Specialist

Agilus is recruiting for a Technical writer / Proposal Specialist in the water treatment industry in London, Ontario.
The Technical writer / Proposal Specialist is responsible for supporting the Applications Engineering and Sales teams with reviewing, editing, and compiling technical proposals and coordinating the completion of bid documents to ensure the highest quality offering is presented to the customer. In addition, this role is responsible for updating and maintaining proposal templates and for developing and maintaining internal reports for the Applications Engineering team to ensure customer deliverables are in line.
Responsibilities:

Review & compile technical proposal documents from multiple stakeholders for quality and completeness
Update and maintain proposal templates to make developing proposals easier on sales and applications
Attend key proposal meetings and complete actions to assist sales and applications as required
Review bid specifications, develop the layout of the bid, and compile documentation from sales and applications
Coordinate actions for final bid completion, delegating bid sections to required parties and verifying completion and assemble the final bid documents
Assist with development of Salesforce reports and data maintenance
Update and maintain bid results data

Requirements:

Experience in a technical writing field
Excellent Microsoft Word, Excel, and PDF editing skills
Experience coordinating and compiling complex technical documentation
Experience using CRM software such as Salesforce (Preferred)

Soft skills:

High attention to detail
Effectively demonstrates excellent organization skills
Able to thrive in a fast paced, dynamic environment

We offer:

6 month contract , with a potential of becoming a full time role
Hybrid role
