Agilus is recruiting for a Business Analyst in the Retail Sector.
Agilus Work Solutions has a client in Vancouver looking for a Business Analyst to join their team on a permanent basis. Our client is a leading food manufacturer with over 80 retail locations across Canada. This role serves as a liaison between IT and the enterprise; you are a trusted partner who understands the big picture, aligning requirements to solutions advancing processes and technology. The primary focus will be on the back end systems supporting the company Canada wide, with a focus on ERP system enhancements.
A typical day:

Identify solution opportunities through stakeholder interviews, industry research, and independent analysis of software and business practices
Utilize facilitation skills to elicit requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, surveys, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, task and workflow analysis
Document technical and functional requirements in a clear and concise fashion, which are executable
Partner with stakeholders to build tangible business cases which support new features and enhancements
Ensure alignment between multiple business, technical, and solution providers to align on solution approach and priorities

Requirements:

University degree in computer science, business administration, or related discipline with a technical focus (or equivalent)
3-5 years of experience as a Business or System Analyst, preferably in the retail domain, with related integrated enterprise systems experience
Exposure to enterprise resource planning, INFOR’s Syteline/CSI ERP and warehouse solutions
Experience working with a variety of development methodologies (agile, hybrid, etc.)
Working knowledge of SAAS and vendor management
