Agilus is recruiting for a Business Intelligence & Data Manager in the Not-For-Profit Industry in Calgary, Alberta.
The Manager, Business Intelligence & Data, will help the organization and its stakeholders continuously improve their abilities to source, manage, and exchange information relevant to operations. Will also work with internal and external collaborators to develop and manage tools, processes, policies, and systems related to improving the accessibility and usefulness of a wide variety of information and data.
A typical day:

Lead capacity-building efforts to help better use of data and contribute to developing data / information related to economics, competitive intelligence, and business intelligence.
Lead engagement of internal partners to develop and maintain understanding of user-centric stakeholder data / information needs, including content, experiential, and workflow considerations.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and implement capacity-building and change-management strategies to enhance usage and appreciation of data and strategic intelligence.
Advise, facilitate and procure the design, development, and maintenance of tools, systems, policies, processes, and training related to data / information management.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to continuous curate and maintain strategic portfolios of data / information content and sources.
Manage procurement of data/information, including subscriptions, service contracts, and ad-hoc/custom orders

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Information and Communications, Information Management, or Business Administration, or equivalent work experience.
Minimum 5-8 years progressively responsible experience in a directly related field.
Collaborative, detailed-oriented and puts an emphasis on a high quality of work.
Organized, can multitask and thrive in a fast paced environment.
Effective verbal and written communication
Loves to gather business intelligence and draw trends from data
Has financial literacy.
