Senior Operations Manager needed in Edmonton! Permanent opportunity, $100K+
Agilus is recruiting for a Operations Manager in the transportation industry in .
We’re working with a transportation company who are looking for a Senior Operations Manager to join their Edmonton team permanently. Perfect person for this role is a go-getter, someone with hands-on experience in transportation, and someone passionate about the industry.
Responsibilities:

Overseeing daily operations
Handling forecasting, budgeting, expenses, and negotiations
Leading a team to operational execution, mentoring and delegating
Leading strategic initiatives
Reporting, overseeing productivity, managing PNL and the back office
Managing relationships with clients and vendors
Hiring and terminating of staff
Report into the VP of Operations

Successful candidates will have:

3-5 years of direct hands-on experience in the transportation, supply chain, or logistics industries
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field
Experienced with managing a team of coordinators or directly managing a group of trucks
