Agilus is searching for the perfect talent to be the new Assistant Property Manager to join our clients growing team. In this role you’ll be responsible for assisting a busy property manager with their increasing portfolio.

Role Responsibilities 

• Work with the Property Manager to resolve building management issues.
  
• Assisting with the preparation of operating budget and accounts receivable
• Assisting with the implementation of a property’s strategic plan, property marketing plan and building maintenance program
• Monitor and provide feedback to staff, suppliers and tenants about accounts payable/receivable and other accounting facets to achieve targets and optimize business opportunities
• Prepare and implement various plans to assist and guide in meeting property, corporate and portfolio goals & objectives
• Communicate relevant information effectively to tenants and other stakeholders using reports and emails
• Provide exceptional customer service to all stakeholders (i.e. tenants, the public, employees) when dealing with difficult issues
• Conduct informal daily and weekly property inspections to ensure high level of quality and smooth operations
• Other duties as assigned

 Qualifications

• Must have at least minimum of 3 years of experience in property management industry with progressive levels of responsibility
• Strong customer service background and ability to develop rapport with residents and staff. Must be able to work for on-call duty and be available for questions/concerns that arise during evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Strong analytical, organizational and problem-solving abilities must be able to handle multiple priorities.
• Strong knowledge of property management law and resident relations.
• Must be a motivated self-starter with the ability to work well in a team setting.
• Excellent communication (written and verbal), computer and interpersonal skills.
• Strong planning, organization and follow up skills
• Must have a vehicle and a valid driver’s license
