Site Construction Supervisor –Pipeline Integrity Digs - Saskatchewan


Our client is seeking a Site Construction Supervisorfor their pipeline operations in Saskatchewan. Under the direction of the Managerof Construction or other designated personnel, the Construction Supervisor isresponsible to ensure all projects are constructed on schedule in a safe,efficient, cost effective manner and within our client’s CorporateSpecifications, Safe Operating Practices & Regulatory requirements. TheSite Construction Supervisor will ensure all construction contractors, andother third party’s construction activities meet contractual requirementswithin the construction scope of work and obligations while adhering to allapplicable policies, procedures and safe work practices. This is a contractassignment commencing in September 2020.




The Construction Site Supervisor will take a lead roleon site in the following areas on behalf of the client:

  • Regulatory Requirements
  • Health, Safety and Environmental Matters
  • Inspections / Investigations
  • Project Kick-Off and Project Close-Out
  • Construction Supervisory Deliverables & Relevant Reporting



  • API 1169 certification is a must
  • Additional API tickets are considered an asset
  • At least 10 years of relevant project experience
  • Previous integrity dig and pipeline experience is required
  • Strong computer skills



Andto confirm all Contingent Workers are required to have all the below safety ticketsprior to arriving on site (and that goes for all field positions):

  • Basic Firefighting (Fire Extinguisher) – 3 year expiry
  • Common Safety Orientation – no expiry
  • Confined Space Awareness – 3 year expiry
  • Defensive Driving (Online) – 3 year expiry
  • Fall Protection – 3 year expiry
  • Globally Harmonized System (GHS) – no expiry
  • Ground Disturbance Level 2 – 3 year expiry
  • H2S Alive – 3 year expiry
  • Incident Command System (ICS 100) – 3 year expiry
  • Spill Responder – 3 year expiry
  • Standard First Aid – 3 year expiry - (with CPR and AED as mentioned below)
  • Transportation of Dangerous Goods – 3 year expiry
  • NORMS Awareness – 3 year expiry
  • Asbestos Awareness – 3 year expiry
  • Benzene Awareness – 3 year expiry
