Agilus by Synergie is recruiting for an Infrastructure Analyst in the utilities industry in a hybrid work environment in Calgary, Alberta.
We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Monitoring Analyst to lead the administration, optimization, and evolution of a large-scale enterprise monitoring environment. This role is ideal for an infrastructure professional with deep SolarWinds expertise and strong Azure administration experience. You will play a key role in improving observability, monitoring infrastructure health, supporting operational excellence, and helping drive automation and predictive monitoring initiatives across IT and OT environments.
Responsibilities:

Administer and optimize the enterprise SolarWinds monitoring platform
Monitor infrastructure health across servers, cloud services, storage, virtualization, and core platforms
Design and refine alerts, thresholds, event correlation rules, and monitoring standards
Coordinate incident response and support problem resolution activities
Analyze performance trends, capacity metrics, and operational data to identify risks and improvement opportunities
Develop dashboards, reports, metrics, and monitoring visualizations for operational teams
Collaborate with infrastructure, cloud, application, and OT teams to expand observability coverage

Requirements:

Strong hands-on experience administering SolarWinds in complex enterprise environments
Experience monitoring servers, cloud workloads, virtualization platforms, storage systems, and datacenter infrastructure
Strong Microsoft Azure administration experience including Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Virtual Machines, and Entra ID
Experience supporting Windows Server environments, including administration, patching, and performance monitoring
Strong understanding of incident, problem, and event management processes
Ability to design monitoring solutions, configure thresholds, correlate events, and drive remediation activities
