Workday Functional Consultant

Agilus by Synergie is recruiting for a Workday Functional Consultant in the Utilities in Calgary, Alberta.
The Workday Functional Consultant / Project Lead will provide hands-on functional expertise across a variety of HR technology initiatives, supporting both project delivery and ongoing system optimization. The role will lead and execute Workday-related projects such as new legal entity implementations, organizational restructures, union setup and maintenance, business process changes, acquisitions, divestitures, and other configuration initiatives.
A typical day:

Lead the functional design, configuration, testing, and deployment of Workday-related projects.
Configure and support organizational changes, including new legal entities, union and collective agreement setup, company and organizational restructures, supervisory organization changes, security and role updates, and business process enhancements.
Partner with HRIS team members to maintain system stability, data integrity, and operational effectiveness.
Identify opportunities to streamline processes, reduce manual effort, and improve the user experience.
Partner with HR, Payroll, Finance, Digital, and business leaders to understand evolving requirements.

Requirements:

Five or more years of Workday functional experience across one or more modules, including Core HCM, Payroll, Time Tracking, Absence, Compensation, Recruiting, Benefits, or Security.
Proven experience leading Workday projects and configuration initiatives from requirements through deployment.
Experience supporting organizational changes such as legal entity implementations, acquisitions, divestitures, restructures, or unionized workforces

Total rewards:

$80.00 - $100.00 hourly
Incorporated payroll
Remote
80-100hr

Further additional qualifications:

Experience within energy, utilities, manufacturing, or another highly regulated industry.
Workday certifications in one or more functional areas; experience with Workday Payroll, Time Tracking, and Absence.
Experience supporting HR technology roadmaps, governance, release management, and continuous improvement initiatives.
