Our client, a growing wealth management practice, is looking for an experienced coach, consultant, or people development professional to help a team of 4 employees define their next stage of growth.
Agilus by Synergie is recruiting for a Career & Development Coach in the Financial Services Industry in a hybrid work environment in Calgary, Alberta.
Over a short-term engagement, you'll work directly with employees and business leadership to uncover strengths, explore career aspirations, identify development opportunities, and create personalized growth plans that support both individual and business success. This is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact within a small, close-knit team. Rather than delivering training programs or developing curriculum, you'll act as a trusted advisor and facilitator, helping employees think intentionally about their future while supporting the organization's long-term goals.
What's in it for you:

$50.00 - $100.00 hourly
This is a unique opportunity to deliver consulting work for a growing wealth management firm, whereby the work schedule, compensation and project scope are all negotiable.

Responsibilities:

Meet one-on-one with four employees to understand their current responsibilities, strengths, interests, and career goals.
Partner with the business owner to gain insight into business priorities and future talent needs.
Facilitate thoughtful career and development conversations.
Help employees identify meaningful and achievable development goals.
Recommend development opportunities such as mentoring, job shadowing, industry education, certifications, stretch assignments, leadership development, and process improvement initiatives.
Create 3-4 personalized Learning & Development Plans aligned with both employee aspirations and business objectives.
Review and present completed plans with employees and leadership.

Successful candidates will have:

Experience in coaching, career development, talent development, organizational development, leadership development, or HR consulting.
Strong interpersonal, interviewing, and facilitation skills.
Ability to build trust and guide meaningful development discussions.
Experience supporting professional services, financial services, or wealth management organizations is considered an asset, but not required.
