Artificial Lift & SCADA Specialist – 4x3 Shift | Grande Prairie | Contract Opportunity
Agilus by Synergie is recruiting for a Contract IOC Operator in the Oil & Gas – Upstream Operations / Production Optimization in Grande Prairie, Alberta.
Join a high-performing operations team focused on maximising well performance across a diverse oil and gas portfolio. This role blends real-time surveillance, data analytics and artificial lift expertise to optimise production, troubleshoot issues and support continuous improvement in field operations.
Total rewards:

$37.00 - $47.00 hourly
Competitive contract compensation structure
4 days on, 3 days off schedule supporting work-life balance
10-hour shifts with consistent rotation
Exposure to advanced optimisation tools and real-time data systems
Opportunity to work with cross-functional engineering and field teams
Preferred rates for benefit coverage available
Weekly pay including 4% vacation pay

A typical day:

Monitor and optimise well performance using real-time surveillance tools
Analyse data from multiple sources to identify trends and opportunities
Support artificial lift systems including plunger lift, rod pump and gas lift
Adjust setpoints and troubleshoot operational and performance issues
Identify candidate wells for optimisation or artificial lift implementation
Collaborate with engineering and field teams on enhancements and installations
Contribute to well review processes and continuous improvement initiatives
Log activities and ensure critical insights are captured and communicated

Successful candidates will have:

Hold legal eligibility to work in Canada
Possess valid Class 5 driver’s licence
Bring minimum 5 years of oil and gas experience
Demonstrate strong knowledge of SCADA and IOC systems including Cygnet and XSPOC
Use Microsoft Office tools effectively including Excel and Teams
Apply strong analytical, troubleshooting and root cause evaluation skills
Communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Show ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
