Hit the Road with a High-Impact Driving Role in Western Canada!
Agilus by Synergie is recruiting for several Calcium Drivers in the chemical manufacturing industry in Nisku, Alberta.
As a Calcium Driver, you will be responsible for safely operating a tractor-trailer unit to transport and deliver calcium chloride to customer sites and field storage locations across Western Canada. This role is essential to ensuring timely, accurate deliveries while maintaining strict compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards. You will also serve as a professional representative in the field, supporting positive customer relationships and contributing to efficient transportation operations.
Total rewards:

$33.00 hourly
Consistent, full-time hours with predictable scheduling aligned to Federal Hours of Service
Annual Bonus - 7% of base pay
Opportunity to work in a stable and essential transportation role supporting Western Canadian operations
2 weeks of vacation
Benefits – eligible to participate in the employee group insured health benefit plans

Duties:

Operate a tractor-trailer to deliver product to customers and field storage tanks
Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and conduct daily job hazard assessments
Load and unload products safely and efficiently
Accurately complete E-logs and comply with Hours of Service regulations
Maintain documentation including waybills, timesheets, and fuel/mileage records
Represent the organization professionally to customers and the public
Maintain a clean and safe work environment

Successful candidates will have:

Pre-employment drug and alcohol screening and criminal background check required
Minimum 3 years Super B driving experience
Valid Class 1 Driver’s License
Valid Class 1 Driver’s License
Experience with liquid bulk hauling, off-road and mountain driving
Strong knowledge of Western Canada geography
Ability to operate hydraulic pumps and install tire chains
Familiarity with Federal Hours of Service regulations
