Quality Technician

Agilus is recruiting for a Quality Technician in the manufacturing Industry in mississauga, Ontario.
our client is seeking a detail-oriented Quality professional to support global distribution quality programs, ensuring compliance, driving continuous improvement, and maintaining the highest standards across medical device and pharmaceutical distribution operations

A typical day:
  • Support the execution and continuous improvement of post-production quality programs to ensure compliance across distribution centers and global supply chains.
  • Monitor and assess internal and 3rd-party distribution operations to ensure adherence to applicable global regulations (e.g., FDA, ISO, EU MDR, Health Canada).
  • Identify quality risks or compliance gaps, investigate issues, and partner with cross-functional teams to implement effective corrective actions.
  • Drive process improvements using quality tools such as trend analysis, process monitoring, and structured problem-solving methodologies.
  • Collaborate with Operations and Supply Chain teams to enhance oversight of global distribution centers and improve efficiency, compliance, and product quality.
  • Support product quality assurance activities including storage compliance, product release, shipping holds, and labeling requirements.
  • Contribute to global projects that strengthen quality systems, ensure country-level regulatory compliance, and maintain inspection readiness.
  • Assist in managing quality oversight of third-party distributors to ensure consistent standards and alignment with internal policies and regulatory expectations.

Successful candidates will have:
  • Bachelor’s degree in a scientific, engineering, or related discipline (or equivalent experience).
  • Experience working in regulated industries such as medical devices, pharmaceuticals, or combination products.
  • Working knowledge of global quality and regulatory requirements (e.g., FDA 21 CFR, ISO 13485/14971, EU MDR, Health Canada).
  • Demonstrated ability to identify quality issues, assess risk, and support root cause investigations and corrective actions.

Total rewards:
  • $29.00 - $31.00 hourly
  • Weekly pay including 4% vacation pay
  • 6 Month - 1 Year Contract
  • Preferred rates for benefit coverage available

Soft skills:
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience using quality tools such as trend analysis and process monitoring.
  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, Supply Chain, and external partners in a global environment.
  • Effective communication and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and projects.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with quality systems, documentation, and audit processes.
