Agilus is recruiting for an Engineering Manager - Products in the financial services industry in a hybrid work environment in Toronto, Ontario.
Our client is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead an Engineering team within a high-growth digital banking platform. This role focuses on building scalable, reliable products and features that help small businesses get paid faster and manage cash flow with confidence. You will guide technical strategy, unify revenue and accounts receivable capabilities, and lead a team delivering simple, intuitive payment experiences with real business impact.
A typical day:

Lead planning and delivery of revenue-focused engineering initiatives
Establish and evolve engineering processes to support predictable delivery
Define and execute technical strategy aligned with business and customer goals
Partner with Product, Design, and cross-functional stakeholders
Unify accounts receivable and payment workflows into cohesive systems
Hire, coach, and develop a high-performing engineering team

Requirements:

Bring 5+ years of full-stack software development experience
Demonstrate 1–3 years of people management experience
Show success delivering high-quality products in B2B SaaS or fintech
Apply strong technical judgment and architectural decision-making
Leverage experience with Node.js, TypeScript, React, and AWS
Balance delivery speed with long-term system maintainability

Total rewards:

$205000.00 - $240000.00 annually
