Agilus is recruiting for a Guidewire Developer in the Insuarance Domain.
An insurance organization is seeking an experienced Guidewire Developers to support enterprise enhancements and modernization initiatives within the Guidewire platform. One role will focus on Guidewire PolicyCenter, and the other on Guidewire ClaimCenter. These positions require hands-on development expertise, strong cloud knowledge, and active Guidewire certification aligned to recent platform releases.
Responsibilities:

Build, configure, and enhance solutions within Guidewire PolicyCenter or ClaimCenter (role-specific). Collaborate with integration teams on policy- or claims-related integrations and downstream systems. Provide guidance on best practices, design approaches, and extensibility within the Guidewire platform. Support development efforts within Guidewire Cloud, including cloud-native configuration and services. Mentor junior developers and contribute to overall team capability. Create and maintain technical and reference documentation.

The successful candidate brings:

5+ years of Guidewire development experience, specializing in either PolicyCenter or ClaimCenter. Proven experience developing solutions within the Guidewire Cloud Platform (GWCP). Strong knowledge of Guidewire Cloud integrations, APIs, and platform services. Solid understanding of object-oriented programming, design patterns, coding standards, and software best practices. Hands-on experience with Guidewire InsuranceSuite, Java, and Gosu. Active Guidewire certification, current and aligned with the latest three Guidewire releases. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Authorized to work in Canada and must reside in Canada for the duration of the project.
