Logistics Coordinator / Planner
Calgary, AB
Agilus is recruiting for a Logistics Coordinator/Planner in the oil & gas sector in Calgary, Alberta. Freight Payables team, you will develop relationships with internal stakeholders & service providers, and be accountable for freight invoice management and payments. You’ll be ensuring invoices are processed accurately, maintain vendor account data and rates, and use your communication and problem-solving skills to resolve discrepancies. Total rewards:- $30.00 - $35.00 hourly
- Mon to Friday 8 hours a day
- 12 Months of Contract Position
A typical day:- Analyze, enter & manage different types of freight invoices.
- Ensure payments will process as expected, and work with Operations teams to understand and address issues.
- Manage & communicate freight payable concerns, including troubleshooting system issues and vendor inquiries, to ensure timely resolution.
- Work independently, in a supplier-focused environment, acting as a key point of contact for internal & external stakeholders.
- A questioning attitude to surface problems: you check for out-of-the-ordinary conditions and learn to anticipate potential problems that may create discrepancies.
Successful candidates will have:- Post-secondary education in Business Administration, SCM, Accounting/Finance or similar.
- Strong communication skills, critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Outstanding organizational skills with a high attention to detail.
- Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office, and SAP experience.
- A motivated self-starter, who is results oriented and driven by accuracy and a continuous improvement mindset.
