We are hiring for a Counterbalance Operator in Etobicoke near the Dundas/Kipling area.
In this role, you'll be responsible for the safe and timely movement of materials, loading and unloading shipments, and maintaining a clean, organized work environment. If you have a valid forklift certification, excellent hand-eye coordination, and a keen eye for detail, we want to hear from you! We provide:- $20.15 hourly
- Full-time hours, Monday to Friday
- Weekly pay, distributed every Friday. 4% vacation pay included with every deposit
- Temp to perm opportunities for the right associate!
- Immediate start upon passing assessment
Responsibilities:- Operating the diesel Counterbalance
- Loading/Unloading materials
- Shipping/receiving duties may apply
- Use of RF scanner
- Other general labor duties may apply
Must have:- Valid forklift license for: Counterbalance. Minimum 1 year of experience with Diesel type
- Ability to work in a cold environment with warm layers and outerwear
- CSA approved safety boots 6-8 inches above the ankle
- Ability to understand and act on verbal/written communication in English
- Ability to lift 50lbs repetitively
