Agilus is recruiting for a Linen Folder in the Textile Industry in Ottawa, Ontario. Our client is hiring a Linen Folder to support their Wash Alley department and textile operations.
This is a critical area for our clients’ operational excellence. In this position, you will be responsible for taking cleaned linens, rugs/mats, and uniforms, and folding them as required, occasionally assisting with packing the linens for delivery. You will also ensure cleanliness and adherence to hygiene standards. Responsibilities:- Fold cleaned linens and various textiles
- Organize cleaned linens and prepare for delivery to clients
- Unload linens as needed, bring items to other departments for next steps
Must have:- Steel toe boots/safety shoes
- Comfortability with a fast-paced environment
- Ability to be precise and accurate, detail-oriented
An ideal candidate has:- Strong communication
- Comfortable standing for long-periods of time
- Comfortable conducting repetitive work
