Agilus by Synergie is currently looking for a Senior Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of large-scale, complex strategic initiatives for one of Canada's top banks.
Agilus by Synergie is recruiting for a Senior Project Manager in the Financial Services in a hybrid work environment in Toronto, Ontario.
Acting as the primary point of accountability, the Senior Project Manager oversees all phases of the project lifecycle, ensuring business objectives are achieved while balancing scope, schedule, budget, quality, and risk. This role partners closely with executive stakeholders, business leaders, technology teams, and external vendors to drive successful business outcomes and deliver measurable value to the organization.
Total rewards:

$75.00 - $90.00 hourly
Hybrid 2-3 days in office

A typical day:

Lead large-scale, cross-functional projects involving multiple business units, technology teams, external vendors, and matrixed stakeholders.
Define, plan, orchestrate, and deliver strategic initiatives across business, operational, and technology domains.
Manage the full project lifecycle from project initiation through planning, execution, implementation, and transition to business operations.
Ensure project objectives are aligned with business strategy, organizational priorities, and executive expectations.
Establish and maintain integrated project plans, schedules, resource plans, risk registers, and contingency plans.

Successful candidates will have:

Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
5-7+ years of experience managing complex business and technology projects.
Demonstrated experience delivering enterprise-scale initiatives involving multiple stakeholders, business functions, and technology teams.
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent project management designation.
