Agilus is recruiting for a IT Analyst in the Financial Sector in a hybrid work environment in Toronto, Ontario.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop, manage, and maintain policies for enterprise data loss prevention (DLP) systems.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to implement and enhance data protection infrastructure.
  • Plan, coordinate, and implement security measures to safeguard databases and sensitive information.
  • Monitor and investigate DLP incidents, identifying risks and recommending mitigation strategies.
  • Support data identification, documentation, residual risk assessment, and access reduction initiatives.
  • Build and refine cybersecurity response playbooks and processes for compliance and control improvement.
  • Analyze threat data and prepare reports, dashboards, and visualizations for leadership.
  • Work with modern enterprise tools and platforms such as Trellix, Forcepoint, Proofpoint, Zscaler, Broadcom, GCP, BigID, and Microsoft Security Suite.

Requirements:
  • 4+ years of experience in IT Security, Cybersecurity, or Information Protection roles.
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience with DLP technologies such as McAfee/Trellix, Proofpoint, Zscaler, or Symantec DLP.
  • 2+ years of direct experience monitoring or investigating DLP incidents in applications or consoles.
  • 3+ years of experience in end-user troubleshooting, preferably in Windows environments.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel for data analysis and reporting.
  • Strong technical understanding of cybersecurity frameworks, incident response, and access management.

Further additional qualifications:
  • Experience working in Banking or Financial Institutions.
  • Familiarity with international compliance and regulatory frameworks.
  • Exposure to infrastructure or application-level vulnerability assessments.
  • Experience with Automation, APIs, SaaS services, and Active Directory.
  • Hands-on experience with Cloud Security and DLP solutions.
  • Applicable security certifications such as McAfee/Trellix, Proofpoint, Zscaler, CISSP, or CISM.
