Senior Project Manager

Agilus is recruiting for a Senior Project Manager in the Financial Industry in a hybrid work environment in Toronto, Ontario.
We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the delivery of a new in-house application designed for banking employees to better assess customer needs, generate tailored recommendations, and integrate with backend systems. This initiative spans across Private Banking and Business Banking and is gaining significant momentum within the organization.
Responsibilities:

Lead end-to-end project delivery for a new employee-facing banking platform with customer navigation and assessment features
Coordinate across Agile pods - currently two, expanding to three, to ensure alignment between business, technology, and product functions
Partner closely with business leads and product owners to define priorities, manage deliverables, and maintain project momentum
Collaborate with technology teams to ensure understanding of platform capabilities, technical constraints, and implementation timelines
Engage and align with risk, AML, and compliance partners to ensure adherence to internal and regulatory requirements
Identify and address gaps in process, communication, and ownership—keeping initiatives moving forward with minimal supervision
Act as the central point of coordination among multiple stakeholders—ensuring clarity, follow-through, and consistent progress

Requirements:

10+ years of experience in project management within the banking or financial services industry
Proven track record managing customer-facing or employee-facing applications in the banking domain
Strong understanding of Agile delivery frameworks and experience working with Agile pods or cross-functional teams
Ability to bridge business and technology, translating complex discussions into clear next steps
Experience working with Risk, AML, and Compliance teams on customer-facing initiatives
Strong organizational and documentation skills

A professional with banking experience who understands customer journeys, risk, and regulatory considerations
