Agilus is recruiting for a Director of Field Support in the Property Damage Restoration Industry in Halton Hills,, Ontario.
The Director of Field Support oversees estimator training, operational support, and technical guidance for locations across Canada. They act as both a coach and quality-control leader, ensuring strong estimator skills, consistent estimates, healthy margins, and successful claim outcomes on all restoration projects.

Total rewards:

A typical day:
  • Support franchise locations across Canada by promoting consistent estimating and project management practices.
  • Provide expert training on accurate, high-quality estimating across all loss types.
  • Deliver field support and guidance throughout the full claim cycle from start to finish.
  • Oversee estimate quality, scoping, and file documentation to ensure network-wide standards.
  • Collaborate with reviewers and adjusters to meet industry expectations for accuracy and timeliness.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline processes and standardize service across all locations.
  • Conduct internal estimate reviews and provide ongoing training, coaching, and technical support.

The successful candidate brings:
  • 3–5 years of project management experience in insurance restoration, including emergency and repair work.
  • Highly proficient in Xactimate with experience reviewing and producing accurate, high-quality estimates.
  • Strong knowledge of insurance claims processes, carrier standards, and restoration best practices.
  • Ability to travel across Canada to visit different franchises (25% of the time)
  • Experience in water, fire, and reconstruction projects, with large or complex loss exposure considered an asset.
  • IICRC certifications (WRT, FSRT, ASD, AMRT, etc.) or prior certification history considered an asset.
  • Background in training, coaching, or leadership with the ability to mentor teams effectively.
  • Exceptional communication, relationship-building, and conflict-resolution skills with a positive, professional demeanor.
