Agilus is recruiting for an Engineering Manager, Fluid Power in Guelph, Ontario. This leadership opportunity is ideal for an experienced engineering professional with a strong background in hydraulics and fluid power systems. You will lead a team responsible for the design, development, and delivery of custom hydraulic solutions while driving project execution, technical excellence, and continuous improvement across engineering operations.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage the Fluid Power engineering team and project workload
  • Develop custom hydraulic solutions using schematic design tools
  • Design hydraulic manifolds and hydraulic power units
  • Collaborate with mechanical teams to develop bills of materials and engineering drawings
  • Support engineering proposals, applications, system integration, and safety reviews
  • Manage projects to meet scope, budget, quality, and schedule requirements
  • Mentor engineering staff, including co-op students and new team members
  • Develop testing procedures and provide support throughout the project lifecycle

Requirements:
  • Hold a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline
  • Bring experience leading engineering projects and technical teams
  • Demonstrate strong knowledge of fluid power and hydraulic systems
  • Possess experience with hydraulic power units, manifolds, or mobile equipment applications
  • Utilize Automation Studio or similar hydraulic design software
  • Communicate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders
  • Demonstrate strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Work effectively in cross-functional environments while promoting safety and ethical business practices
