Agilus by Synergie is recruiting for several Assemblers in the Environment Technology Industry in Guelph, Ontario.
We are seeking an assembly associate to work at a world-class manufacturing facility located in Guelph, ON. This facility produces UV water treatment systems for clients globally. The assembler position involves component mechanical and electrical assembly of the client systems. The ideal candidate brings experience in a production/manufacturing role and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. This is a contract position with an initial contract period of 6 months with options for contract extension.
What's in it for you:

$17.60 hourly
Weekly pay including 4% vacation pay
6 month contract with opportunity for extension or permanent placement
Two Shift Options: Steady Day shift (7:00 am to 3:30 pm, Monday to Friday) OR Steady Afternoon Shift (3:30 pm to 1:30 am), Monday to Thursday (40 hours in 4 days)

Responsibilities:

Performing assembly and test activities as outlined in facility protocols
Reading and interpreting mechanical and electrical drawings
Following all safety procedures and practices with a Safety First Mindset
Maintaining a clean, organized and stocked work area
Inspecting components and finished products to quality standards
Completing required records and tracking
Other jobs as assigned by Team or Production Lead

Successful candidates will have:

Excellent attention to detail
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Ability to communicate and interact effectively
Works well in a team environment
Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred
Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot assembly issues is a plus
