Manager, Enterprise Planning & Strategic Initiatives

Seeking an experienced leader to support enterprise-wide planning and strategic execution within the Technology Transformation & Portfolio Management team.
Agilus by Synergie is recruiting for a Manager, Enterprise Planning & Strategic Initiatives in the Retail Sector in a hybrid work environment in Stellarton, Nova Scotia.
As the Manager, Enterprise Planning & Strategic Initiatives, you will lead integrated planning across technology and business initiatives, aligning strategic priorities, investments, roadmaps, and delivery plans. Partnering with senior leaders, you will oversee governance, portfolio planning, financial alignment, dependencies, and risk management to support informed decisions and successful execution while collaborating across Technology, Finance, Enterprise Architecture, PMO, Program Delivery, and business teams.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead integrated planning for strategic technology and enterprise initiatives.
  • Build and maintain consolidated roadmaps, milestone plans, planning assumptions, and initiative timelines.
  • Align business priorities, investment planning, resource capacity, dependencies, risks, and expected outcomes into comprehensive planning artifacts.
  • Coordinate planning activities across Technology, Finance, Portfolio Management, Enterprise Architecture, Program Delivery, and business stakeholders.
  • Support governance processes by preparing executive presentations, status reporting, roadmap updates, and strategic recommendations.
  • Support benefits realization by defining success measures, tracking value delivery, and improving planning effectiveness throughout the initiative lifecycle.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to project teams and planning resources while fostering collaboration across the organization.

Successful candidates will have:
  • 7+ years of experience in enterprise planning, portfolio management, technology transformation, strategy execution, or large-scale program delivery.
  • Proven success working within complex, matrixed organizations managing multiple priorities and stakeholders.
  • Strong experience preparing executive-level reporting, governance materials, strategic roadmaps, and decision-support documentation.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate strategic objectives into executable plans, investment recommendations, implementation sequencing, and governance insights.
  • Solid understanding of portfolio governance, financial planning, resource management, delivery methodologies, and benefits realization.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence leaders at all organizational levels.

Total rewards:
  • $80000.00 - $120000.00 annually
