Site EHS Advisor – 8/6 Rotation in Grande Prairie
Agilus is recruiting for a Site EHS Advisor in the Oil and Gas industry in Grande Prairie, Alberta.
Join a major industrial project in Grande Prairie as a Site EHS Advisor, supporting safe field execution, contractor compliance, and hands on site oversight. Work in a dynamic environment where your expertise keeps crews safe and operations running efficiently.
Total rewards:

$65.00 - $80.00 hourly
Work closely with an engaged site leadership team
Earn $65–67/hr on T4; Option to work as an incorporated contractor at ~$80/hr
8 days on, 6 days off rotation
12 hour shifts on an active project site
Opportunity for project extension past July 2026
Build strong field experience on a high profile industrial project

Responsibilities:

Conduct site-specific safety orientations and maintain accurate onboarding records
Verify and track safety certifications and worker competencies
Maintain EHS plans, corrective action registers, MERP/ERP, and SDS systems
Lead or support lift plans, fall protection plans, and confined space processes
Perform routine inspections, observations, vehicle/equipment spot checks, and security tours
Manage gas detection equipment, radios, and site entry systems
Support incident notifications, investigations, and contractor management
Participate in EHS meetings, document minutes, and support administrative compliance

Requirements:

Bring proven experience in field-based EHS roles
Hold relevant safety certifications and training
Demonstrate strong knowledge of industrial safety programs and high risk work
Stay highly organized with excellent documentation and reporting skills
Work confidently with contractors and multidisciplinary site teams
Show initiative, problem solving ability, and strong field presence
Remain comfortable working long shifts in dynamic construction environments
Be currently based in or near Grande Prairie (no relocation available)
