Our client is seeking a driven and technically proficient Business Development Representative to join their team, specializing in pumps and industrial fluid handling equipment across Alberta. This role is ideal for a self-motivated professional with a strong understanding of industrial applications and a passion for building client relationships and driving sales growth. Total rewards:- $90000.00 - $115000.00 annually

A typical day:- Develop and execute strategic plans to grow sales within key and target accounts across Alberta.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities while cultivating relationships with key decision-makers.
- Gather project requirements and track procurement cycles to support accurate and timely quote preparation.
- Collaborate with internal teams to deliver customized product and service solutions to industrial clients.
- Manage the full sales cycle, from lead generation through to contract negotiation and closing.
- Stay informed on industry trends, regulations, and participate in relevant industry associations.
- Provide regular reporting on sales activities, market insights, and progress toward business goals.
- Represent the company at industry events and client meetings across the province.
Requirements:- Post-secondary education in a technical field or equivalent combination of education and experience; strong technical aptitude is essential.
- Minimum of 5 years of industry experience with a proven track record in business development and closing sales.
- Ability to travel within Alberta and internationally (primarily to the USA) for training; valid passport and visa (if required) are necessary.
- Strong relationship-building and communication skills, with experience in the pumps or fluid handling industry preferred.
- Technical understanding of industrial pump systems and fluid handling solutions.
- Self-driven, results-oriented, and capable of working independently in a field-based role.
