Assistant Store Manager – Lead, Coach and Drive Retail Excellence
Agilus by Synergie is recruiting for a Assistant Store Manager in the Retail Sector in Forest, Ontario.
The Assistant Store Manager plays a key leadership role in supporting daily store operations while helping to build a high-performing retail team. Working closely with the Store Manager, this role ensures operational standards, merchandising guidelines and asset protection procedures are followed. In the Store Manager’s absence, the Assistant Store Manager assumes full responsibility for opening, closing and overall store performance in a fast-paced retail environment.
A typical day:

Support daily store operations and assume full responsibility in the Store Manager’s absence
Recruit, train, coach and motivate Key Holders and Store Associates
Ensure company policies, procedures and asset management standards are followed
Oversee inventory counts to support accurate replenishment and stock control
Operate the cash register and ensure customer service standards are met
Large focus on retail inventory replenishment.

Successful candidates will have:

Bring a minimum of two years of retail management experience
Demonstrate strong leadership, communication and team development skills
Thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume retail environment
Show strong organisational skills and ability to manage priorities effectively
Maintain flexible availability for day, evening and weekend shifts

Candidates that possess experience in a high inventory volume environment
